CompuLab have announced that the fit-PC2 and fit-PC2i will be end-of-life from October 2014.
The fit-PC2 has been on sale since 2009, and now one of the main chips in these computers, the Intel SCH US15W, has been scheduled for end-of-life (EOL) by Intel in October.
Fortunately there won’t be any issues with supply of the fit-PC2 or fit-PC2i before then, so feel free to keep ordering them for now.
However, if you have long-term projects that depend on the fit-PC2, now would be a good time to stock up, or consider changing over to one of our other low-power desktop PCs.
You can also secure availability of the fit-PC2 by pre-purchasing stock of the critical parts before October 2014.
