Connecting a Mazda RX-8 to the internet with an ALIX 1
This month we bring you a very cool case study from Jonathan Oxer, who used an ALIX 1 to connect his Mazda RX-8 to the internet, allowing him to remotely monitor and control his car.
Jonathan installed the ALIX 1 in the boot of his RX-8 and connected it to a variety of systems including the On-Board Diagnostics, ignition manager and audio system.

Add a hard drive to your ALIX 1
ALIX 1 hard drive bracket coming soon
Our new ALIX 1 2.5″ hard drive bracket will be available very soon.
This extremely low profile adapter allows you to mount a 2.5″ hard drive in any of our ALIX 1 computers – either the ALIX 1 or the ALIX 1 “XL”.
It also fits into the PC Engines ALIX 1 case and can be installed in less than 30 seconds.
