We’ll be closed from 5PM on Thursday, 28th November until 9AM on Wednesday, 4th December.
We also have Melbourne Cup Day next Tuesday around here, so we’ll also be closed on Monday the 4th and Tuesday the 5th of November.
So if you’re going to need any of our hardware soon, this is your chance to get organised.
And can you believe it’s only eight weeks until Christmas? So I’ve listed our Christmas closure dates down below for you as well.
MicroSVR approved for sale in Australia
The latest product from CompuLab – the MicroSVR (also called the uSVR) – has finally been approved for sale in Australia.
The MicroSVR is a high-performance server, which is extremely small, incredibly powerful and totally silent.
Consuming anywhere from 8 to 35W, the funky fluted case design ensures optimal heat dissipation.
And with a 3rd Generation Intel Core i7 processor, up to 32GB of RAM and space for 4 internal 2.5″ RAID-controlled hard drives, we’re really looking forward to taking this one for a test drive.
Check out CompuLab’s brochure on the MicroSVR to learn more.
CompuLab have also introduced the Utilite – an ARM-based Cortex-AP miniature low-power desktop designed for Linux and Android systems.
You can learn more about the Utilite at utilite-computer.com, and we’d love to hear your thoughts on it.
Please let us know if you’re interested in either of these, so we can make sure we’ve got enough stock to keep you happy.

Christmas and New Years Hours
This year has been an absolutely fascinating and wild ride.
Ready for another one? I hear it’s going to be even better next year ;)
End-of-year closure
To help you plan ahead, here are the important dates for our end-of-year period:
Friday, 20 Dec, 12PM – The absolute latest you’ll need to place and pay for your order by, if you want it to arrive before Christmas. You’ll need to order even earlier if you’re outside of the Express Post area, or if it’s a large order. Ask us if you’re not sure. Of course we’ll happily process your last minute order, but we just can’t guarantee it will arrive in time. So get in early, OK?
Friday, 20 Dec, 5PM – When we close for our Christmas break.
Monday, 13 Jan, 9AM – When reopen after our Xmas break, and it’s also straight after we do our annual stocktake, so if you want to help us out, please clear us out of everything before Christmas, OK? Thank you :)
You’re more than welcome to place orders via the website while we’re closed, but we won’t be answering the phones, shipping orders, or responding to emails until we reopen.
We wish you a truly wonderful and rejuvenating holiday season.
