Get even more power in 802.11a
You’ve been asking and asking us if and when we were going to get the Ubiquiti Super Range cards. Well here’s the SR5, and keep an eye out in the coming months for the SR2.
With 400mW of power in the 5.8GHz band and excellent receive sensitivity, the Ubiquiti SR5 400mW is ideal for backhaul or trunk links.
This card can do up to 24Mbps at 400mW and 54Mbps at 125mW in the 5.8GHz band. Now that’s fast!
New look online shop
Check out our new multi-page online shop
We’ve given our products a bit of ‘personal space’ and split our online shop into pages.
With meaningful groupings and shorter pages, the shop is now faster to load and easier to navigate. Just click on a tab to go directly to the range of products you’re interested in.
Two new great case colours
WRAP 1 cases now in yellow and white
“Somewhere, over the rainbow…”
We’ve gone crazy with the paint again, to bring you WRAP 1 cases in bright yellow and cool white.
So now, whatever kind of device you’re building, we have the colour to suit.
In other news…
New products
OK, so there’s the Ubiquiti SR5 400mW miniPCI wireless card and the new WRAP 1 case colours.
We’ve also bundled the Senao 400mW with an SMA pigtail and antenna into a wireless kit and added both 400mW cards as options to all of our boxes.
Then there’s the 8dBi 2.4GHz N-female outdoor omni antenna and the 50cm low-loss N-male to N-male pigtail to match.
And that’s your lot for this month. Enjoy!
Price changes
Save another $5 on our 512MB SanDisk and 1GB SanDisk CF cards. What can we say that we haven’t already said?
Product changes
We have now definitely sold out of 64MB and 256MB SanDisk CF cards, and it doesn’t look like we’re going to be able to dig up any more.
If you’re after SanDisk, it’ll have to be a 128MB, 512MB or 1GB. Or you can try one of our Biwin 64MB or 256MB cards.

Reflashing a CF card remotely
We’ve added an FAQ on how you can use GRUB to allow you to remotely reflash your CF card in a WRAP or net4801 if you don’t have physical access to the box.
Very useful if it’s 10m up a pole or on the other side of the planet!
Postage and handling charges tweaked
Increasing freight costs and our expanding product range have prompted us to review our shipping charges.
So now our postage and handling calculation in our online store takes into account the weight, size and value of your order. The good news is, it will still only cost you $9, $13 or $25, depending on the size of your order.
We still do custom quotes for offline orders. For more info, visit our Shipping Info page.
