Notes
  • net5501 boards do not slide out in this rack mount case
  • To have an operating system installed, you will need to include an appropriately sized Compact Flash card in your order
  • If you select the A400P VoIP card in the PCI slot, you will also need at least one FXO/FXS module
  • The net5501 can only recognise 134GB of storage space, so if you select the 160GB 2.5" SATA HDD, you will only have access to 134GB of it.

Exclusive to Yawarra, this rack mount server is the ideal way to utilise net5501 boards in a server rack. Internal power supplies are included, with standard IEC power connectors ideal for hosting environments.

With four ethernet ports as standard and a 500MHz CPU with 512 MB of RAM, the net5501 is ideal for use as a firewall, VPN Router, internet gateway or VoIP PBX.

You can add a 2.5″ laptop hard drive, as well as a miniPCI and/or PCI expansion card, allowing the net5501 to serve in an even wider variety of applications.

Each board slot has a punched cover plate to suit the net5501 board. If you choose only one board, the empty slot comes with a blank cover plate that can be easily replaced in future with a mounting kit to accommodate a PCI expansion card.
