  • To have an operating system installed, you will need to include at least one mSATA drive in your order
  • You can only have two SATA devices operating in the net6501 at the same time. This means that you can use either two mSATA drives, or one mSATA and one standard SATA drive, but not all three at once.

Compact and energy-efficient, the net6501 “XL” is silent, fanless and built to last.

Designed for use as a firewall, VPN router, internet gateway or application server, the net6501 also has the power and flexibility to function in any capacity as a dedicated network appliance, and is NBN-ready.

The net6501 “XL” combines a powerful 1.0GHz or 1.6GHz Intel ATOM CPU with four Gigabit ethernet ports and up to 2GB of RAM.

You can add mSATA, 2.5″ SATA and USB flash drives for storage, plus MiniPCI-Express cards and/or low-power standard PCI-Express cards, for even greater functionality.

The double-height case of the net6501 “XL” is able to accommodate a wide range of PCI-Express (PCIe) cards, maximising expansion card flexibility while minimising the desk space required.

The net6501 “XL” includes a board and case, ready for you to add your choice of storage media, operating system, power supply and other accessories.
